GMB Structural is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. We offer a full suite of services to various industries and have a comprehensive understanding of their respective legislation. We’ve managed many projects within Sydney, providing design, assessment, reporting and certification to industries including retail, education, health, defence, environment, recreation and transport.

How we work
From first enquiry to final certification
Every project follows the same disciplined sequence, so you always know what happens next.
- Receive enquiry and discuss the project requirements
- Request further information if necessary
- Review additional information – Plans and Documentation (architecturals, strata plan, survey, geotechnical report etc.)
- Prepare a detailed fee proposal for the client to consider
- Attend property to inspect, assess and collate information for the engineering design phase of the project
- Carry out structural/civil analysis and devise a cost effective and compliant design solution, tailored specifically to the project
- Prepare either an engineers report and/or CAD drawings detailing the structural/civil/remedial design details for the contractor to follow
- Attend site periodically and/or at certain hold points to ensure construction is inline with the design intent
- When engineering works are satisfactorily completed, we will issue a final engineering certification
